A professional appraisal provides the protection that you need by applying uniform, objective, and fair methods of establishing the value of your possessions. Through a licensed appraiser, the current valuation of your personal property becomes part of your legal records. In the event of theft, damage due to an act of nature such as a hurricane or tornado, an up-to-date appraisal will supply the necessary information to help settle a claim. Owner
Sharon Kerwick, ASA, ISA, CRA, has been appraising personal property in the South Florida area since 1976. She works with insurance companies, trust departments, attorneys and private individuals. She has had contracts with various Government agencies, including U.S. Customs and has been a Special Master for the Broward County Valuation Board. She is also available as an expert witness and for litigation support.
Sharon Kerwick has been an instructor for Florida Atlantic University and has taught Continuing Education classes on antiques, silver, oriental rugs, furniture, and other collectibles, as well as classes on the profession of personal property appraising. She has presented lectures for conventions, libraries, civic organizations as well as antique clubs. Mrs. Kerwick is a founding member of the South Florida Chapter of the International Society of Appraisers and served as its president. She has completed all the courses and re-certifications required by the International Society of Appraisers to carry the designation of ISA and is also qualified as a Senior Appraiser, Oriental Rugs in the American Society of Appraisers.
